OBBI Solutions has won the prestigious Enterprise Software category award, beating off stiff competition from across Northern Ireland at the INVENT AWARDS 2019 held recently at the ICC Waterfront Hall in front of 800 leading business people.

OBBI Solutions is a revolutionary cloud-based software solution which digitally optimises and integrates business-critical processes from HR, Operations, Health & Safety and Facility Management on its unique platform. It can be accessed on any internet-enabled device including phones, tablets and PC’s, anywhere, at any time and is user-friendly, regardless of technical capability. It gives business owners, managers and staff a real-time, 360-degree view of their operations, compliance and teams and ultimately delivers Peace of Mind.

The software platform is already proving hugely popular with a raft of businesses in multiple sectors where, ironically, the majority of team members are not predominantly in front of computers including Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Construction and Health. OBBI was created by Gareth Macklin, Director at the award-winning Macklin Group who employs over 650 people in Care Homes, Hotels and Construction. The Invent competition offers an opportunity for innovators of Northern Ireland to be recognised as the next ‘big thing’ – this year it attracted more than 100 entries across six categories.  The 9-month judging process challenged innovators and entrepreneurs to showcase their products to bring forward the best tech ideas Northern Ireland has to offer. Winners shared a prize fund of over £33,000 to help them further develop their innovative inventions.
